Japanese Macaque Monkeys Cuddle To Keep Warm!

Holy cuteness! A group of Japanese Macaque Monkeys were photographed huddling close to each other to keep warm in snow at the Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo in Nanjing, capital of east China’s Jiangsu Province.

These beautiful pink faced primates are sometimes known as the snow monkey because they normally live in areas where snow covers the ground for months each year.

In the wild, the Japanese macaque is native to the islands of Japan, most notably, Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu.

They are also often spotted enjoying some spa time in the Hot Springs in Nagano. Smart little guys they are!
