When a 8-pound Macaque Monkey escaped from the Wake Forest University Primate Center, researchers thought outside of the box to lure the primate back to the facility. They set up humane traps and played baby monkey calls in hopes that the female monkey would respond to the sounds.

Snow Monkeys Relax In The Hot Springs

While keeping warm in the hotsprings, a snow monkey appeared to have sprouted extra pair of hands. Photographer Eric Cheng, who snapped this shot in Yamanouchi, Japan, said he was initially baffled by the apparent mutation. But, on closer inspection, he realised the macaque monkey’s extra ‘hands’ were actually his feet.
