A pair of White Lion Babies were seen with their mama at Guangzhou Zoo earlier this week.
The tiny little ones, who were a bit crowd shy, got a push from their mom to go out and meet the public. So. Very. Cute!
Contrary to popular belief, White Lions are not albinos, but a genetic rarity unique to one endemic region on the globe: the Timbavati region. The last white lion was seen in the wild in 1994, after which time they were technically extinct in the wild. It is estimated that there are fewer than 300 White Lions world-wide.
